Again, it was a second hand report, kind of like those anonymous reports of dubious validity. Packed in with the rest of the story (hit piece) it's no surprise how the story looks.

They can't get together because they are polar opposites. The tea party wants to roll back gains other groups have made. They didn't want to compete with hard working over achieving ethnic groups . They didn't want Obamacare due to the fact that it HELPED traditionally marginalized groups. The Tea party was ok with rich guys as long as the rich guys fed them red meat. Occupy was a disorganized mass uprising of the left. No leadership. No plan to use democracy and voting for the cause. Wanting to stick it to the "man" is not a winning strategy.. ..... They wanted the exact opposite of the tea party . Occupy wanted an end to social injustice. Tea party wanted 1950s style social injustice.
