This is bogus because someone adhering to Halal has to do more than just not eating pork as does a jew keeping kosher. It has to do with how the animals are butchered. And if the family did not care about that aspect of Halal why are they worried about pork being in the chicken?
This is ridiculous, food joints screw up people's orders every single day. Last week, I came home with a bacon cheeseburger (to add insult to injury, it also had ketchup). I didn't order a bacon cheeseburger. I'm a victim and I demand justice, bawhahaha.
Strictly speaking, Muslims should never eat in a non-halal restaurant.
Muslims in China never go to restaurants of Han Chinese, even if they just want to eat some rice.
Do these Muslims have proof of the alleged bacon? How do they know what bacon tastes like?
Beware fast-food restaurants. I have gotten wilted lettuce, old onions and nearly rancid fries at some big name fast food places. They don't hire the cream of the crop, although those employees feel they should be paid like they are skilled labor.

It is obvious that this was done on purpose. The regular McChicken sandwich comes with a piece of chicken which has been fried (not grilled), lettuce and mayo on a bun. There is no way the employee mistakenly put bacon on the chicken sandwiches.
The buns are often grilled. The tongs and other tools of trade are often used on both stations. I know for a fact that I used tongs on bacon and then holding chicken patties with the same set. There were bacon bits in the fryers all the time.
If one eats Halal food, why would they go to McDonald's and order chicken? Wouldn't fish have been the better choice if there were no Halal food available?
It's like when you get a stray fry in the onion rings, or there's a piece of random other ingredient that made it's way via mistake on your sandwich. It's fast food, there will be mistakes.
Is there any reason to think this was done on purpose? Or is it just an overactive mind who is paranoid about others because they're this or that?
The only problem with that kind of thinking, that it's no big deal, is that a mistake like that could literally kill someone if they had a food allergy and got a stray bit of peanut, for example.
The larger issue here is one of food safety and cleanliness. Way too many restaurants are quite lax in this regard.
The extent of the compensation for this should be a refunded or replaced order that matches what they actually ordered. It is dumb that this is news, do you know how many times they have gotten my order wrong in fast food drive-throughs? Probably almost as many times as they have gotten it right, maybe like a 60% batting average, and half the time I don't even notice till I get to my destination - then I get 0 recompensation. Where is my national news story that they gave me a medium fry instead of a large?
Exactly. I ate at MDs last week. They put tarter sauce on my fish sandwich after I told them no to tarter. I guess I should be outraged!
