As for embarrassment, I will say this. The embarrassment is there, but there is more. I consider him a horrible man. I can always say "Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him". By that, I can disassociate myself from him.
Re the bolded....a majority of voters didn't want Hillary either. Hillary got a plurality of the vote, but not a majority.

Someone started a thread on one of the Alaska forums about the Canadian government granting far north land for the purpose of farming....but it seemed that that OP didn't understand that you already had to be legally living in Canada in order to qualify.

Republicans and Democrats must agree that the mas communications media are hurting our country. Do we just have to sit back and accept their foolishness? Or is it possible to shut them down?

No matter how offensive it is to you, you can't shut the media down.
As soon as you do, you've destroyed democracy and national freedom.
Don't even postulate on the idea.

Yes, he is. Patently true. But his supporters don't have the moral courage to admit that they were conned. They voted for him and, by God, they will go over the cliff with him rather than face the truth.

I don't agree with shutting down the media. I just ignore the obvious lying part of the media, which is about 95%.

Cut it with that Godwin's Law BS. In this thread and in response to the post I replied to, its relevant. Godwin's Law is not meant to shut down all allusions to that time period and the situations that developed because of certain leadership.
You brought Hitler into the conversation. You invoked Godwin's Law. You lose---big time.

Trump is nothing like Hitler---and you know it, too. Give it a rest.
