I think even Dave Rubin sees the flaw in his own argument every time he has a social conservative on his show.

It's generally a good idea to read the whole article, not just the headline.

Back to the subject at hand.

Interesting article. It's difficult to admit that one's own party has hateful elements, but it's important, too. I'm not about to become a conservative as the result of this story, but it does make me want to be more vigilant about ensuring that liberalism is not co-opted by fringe elements whose words are just as hateful as those of the ones they oppose.

Its not that hard to admit for us on the left. There is a reason Bernie and the Progressives got soundly rejected in the South.

I doubt the OP would ever admit to the bad elements of his party/side of the aisle.

The article is an attempt to attack the messenger and ignore the argument.

There were many women mad at Trump's statement. Finding a few you can demean over something else does not excuse what Trump said.

Worthwhile read. Even the NYT is starting to wake up it appears.
You know what? Don't even go there. Yesterday on this board one of your "colleagues" posted a link to InfoWars which suggested that there would be a civil war in the unlikely event that Trump gets impeached. This forum's usual gang of suspects were delighted to post in that thread about how they had their guns all sighted in and loaded and that they'd be delighted to start shooting people down in the streets. That thread ended up getting closed, but not before it had gone on for 19 hateful pages. Trump supporters here post that it would be a service to the country if N. Korea dropped a nuclear bomb on one of California's coastal cities. Last week Trump urged the nation's law enforcement officers to rough up suspects. And let's not forget the atrocities committed by those brave militia members who hang in your neck of the woods.

Get real, Mister. But then I forget I'm replying to a Cult 45 member.

Hate? Like creating this thread?

There is rational anger and distrust based on real issues.

Then there is lashing out in an attempt to divert attention.

This is the latter.

I am on the left, and there are a few people on my side who make me cringe.

Yes, you should have done something different--such as actually reading the article and then making comments based on that. Instead, you did a drive-by sound, byte response. Yes, I think that's wrong and adds nothing to the discussion. And no, I don't just read the title and respond.
