Trudeau invited them. I am so happy Canada has the funds and medical expenses to take care of them. At least they will get free healthcare there. Even if they don't pay into the system.

Comparing Canada's situation with Germany is just...well daft.

lol.........Canadians trashed America for years about "how mean" we are, and how OPEN-MINDED and NICE Canada is. Trump's election put their Moral Preening Machine into hyperdrive. Ooops!! Right up until the illegals started to flood THEIR border...............then we saw one of the finest displays of pure hypocrisy in recent times. "SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PEOPLE!!"..................lol

I LOVE it!!

lol.. Economic Migrant Cultural diversity is great and all...until it shows up at your border. Then you have to fill up olympic stadiums because your president makes a public speech without any plan to back it up.

...and just how would millions of migrants come to Canada? Also the vetting Canada does didn't exist for Germany.

Totally different situations.

Not saying that millions will flood in a course of a year, but the numbers will be steady and increase over time. Its already happening... They are having to put them in olympic stadiums now because of the steady flow.

Its really not that hard to get a vacation visa to the US then head right to Canada and claim asylum. Same goes for any latin american illegals.

Mean? Never heard anyone in Canada say American's are mean. We have criticized YOUR immigration policies as not being perhaps as stringent as Canada's even when Americans want to believe that Canada is lax and perpetuating the myth that the 9/11 hijackers MUST of come to Canada first.

We have always had illegals ( in fact the largest group of illegals working in Canada are Americans ). Our process of entry is the same as it always has been in this regard.

There is no hypocrisy.

You realize the numbers are still in the hundreds??

A foreigner getting a " vacation visa " for the USA to want to get into Canada??? You do realize they would need one issued for Canada BY Canada as well???? Why would they want or NEED to go to the USA first? If they arrive illegally we deal it with by sending them back. Yes we actually do that. Those migrants are being processed in other words. If they have no legal right to claim refugee status, back they go.

Canada wouldn't issue hundreds of thousands of visitor visa's from one place or do so if they saw a huge influx. Warning signs would happen. If thousands were to show up at once I'm sure border patrols on both sides of the border would take action...including yours.

I love when Americans realize their own policies have failed them, and now believe that Canada with it's own polices would fail as well...when so far we haven't.

All I'm seeing here are some misguided Americans who have this odd idea about Canada and are frothing at the mouth at the prospect of Canada having some issues. Odd.
