The conservatives who sold out America will go to their graves pretending Clinton would’ve been worse than Trump because the nature of the corrupt bargain the right made with Donald Trump is so clear, an entire generation of Republicans and conservatives will spend their whole lives trying to outrun the taint of their own immorality, if and when Trump’s administration collapses.

Because party over country.

Republicans wouldn't work with the Democrats for 7 years at least now, they call the Democrats Obstructionists. Look in the mirror people. You Evangelicals especially sold out to this moron President and his potty mouth because he told you what you wanted to hear. Even his mouthpiece Sarah Huckabee doesn't mind telling lies on a daily basis for this clown. It's funny to see the Evangelicals make excuses for their backing this guy. Pathetic....

Oh, stop with the whining about the opposition party opposing the plans of the POTUS from the other party, everyone.

Opposition and yes, obstructionism, is a feature, not a flaw, of our system of government.

I was elated to see Trump win over Hillary, as I figured (correctly) that the Dems would suddenly find a new respect for the Constitutional limits on POTUS.

Yeah for the system!

Let's look at what the argument boils down to.......from the article.

During the election, many people were led to believe that Clinton was a far more corrupt and dishonest person than Trump,

This is acknowledging that she was corrupt, just maybe not as corrupt as Trump. Is that what our choices should boil down to? Not who would best lead the country but who is the least corrupt?

The DNC and MSM helped rig the primary for Hillary over Bernie, because:

(1) Party over country

and

(2) Middle Finger from the establishment.

America is in this mess, because both parties have been putting party over country. Look at all of Obama's broken promises, why did he break many of them? To put his party's reelection chances over country. It is easier to kick the can down the road than make tough adult decisions.

Any honest and informed person would admit that both options were corrupt. But party over country including from the OP.

It's so cute that you still have a crush on Hillary.

You don't even seem to care that the DNC colluded to screw over Sanders.

Many Democrats still refuse to acknowledge that many of their own party members voted for candidates other than Clinton. You insisted on running a very unpopular candidate and people swore for months they weren't going to follow along and on Election Day they proved it.

Donald Trump won. Donald freakin' Trump. That's how much people despise Clinton. That's important - don't forget it or you risk making the same mistake again.

So just remember: every time you wag a finger at anyone who didn't vote for Clinton, you're further alienating wobbly Democrats. I am one of those wobbly Democrats. I am not alone here. I voted for Johnson. The behavior of the Democratic community post-election has only ensured that I won't vote Democrat again. Not until you folks clean your house, reset your ultra-judgemental hysterics, and expand your platform to include issues other than fringe demographics with first-world problems.
