Trump said he was going to take out the terrorists and their families. When was he ever a war dove?

With the possible exception of a few petty, predominately-African tyrants here and there, North Korea represents the strongest, if not the last of the completely totalitarian states, and possession of nuclear capability goes a long way toward establishing the permanence of Kim's regime; on the other hand, if Kim fails, and hopefully, is removed, the largest single cancer threatening the continued advance of "tested" democracies is removed as well.

I'm not proclaiming Trump as capable of leading us to a Promised Land; only identifying Kim as currently the most prominent among those trying to march back into darkness and barbarism.

And it might be recalled that at the height of the debate over the First Gulf War, a few of the lowest of the Low Left were revealed as expressing a desire for higher American casualties.

Unfortunately it is becoming more obvious every day that America will never completely recover from the damage that Trump is doing to our nation.

We debated going into Iraq for a long time. We debated going into Syria. How is that not revealing your actions?

Oh if there was some sort of dialogue, some sort of reasoned discussion between the DOD and the Administration and the Congress that would be a different matter, wouldn't it? Instead, Trump goes on Twitter or gets in front of a camera and shoots his mouth off like a WWE wrestler. Totally indefensible, because a President's words MATTER, and as the Commander in Chief, they need to be measured and well planned. It's like he thinks he's an actor in some old John Wayne movie, truly bizarre.

That was not the argument. If you want to argue that, I'm not going to disagree. I will note though, Congress said no on Syria but the administration did it anyway.

Hillary suggested on national television she would shoot down Russian planes, we indeed are sorely lacking in sane, rational, clear thinking politicians.

The depth of complete incompetence of Trump is breathtaking, it was unfortunate that he drew Tillerson and Haley in as props.

Gee - I thought he'd been elected to govern.

Are you kidding me? What planet have you been on? Obama was famous for doing just that. BTW, Trump never said he wanted to or was going to use military force with Venezuela. He said the options are open. Of course, the options are open to use military force anywhere in the world at any time. So this thread is a complete failure and misleading at that.
