On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that he’s more worried about the US becoming North Korea under President Trump than North Korea attacking the US.

Maher said, “I must tell you, my bigger fear, I am afraid of North Korea attacking us. … My bigger fear is we’re becoming North Korea.”

Maher: 'My Bigger Fear' Is That the US Is 'Becoming North Korea' - Breitbart

Are we becoming like North Korea under Trump?

I don't think the US is becoming like NK, but Trump is a lot like Kim Jong Un! Imagine Trump unleashed and without the other branches of government for checks and balances!

Guess who said it: President Trump or Kim Jong Un

Illicit drugs seem to have taken their toll on poor Bill Maher. He is unable to distinguish being rich, living in a mansion, making millions of dollars complaining about our leader vs a country where he'd live in poverty and be horribly killed along with his family for slight dissent.

Context seems to be totally lost on "progressives" these days.

I'd say yes the minute you and Maher will face the firing squad, him for saying it, you for posting it.

The point Maher was probably trying to make was that the same crazed level of unthinking devotion shown to Kim Jong Un is also shown to Trump by Republicans. Just like they are brainwashed in North Korea, the same level of religious adulation for a clown of a leader is also shown to Trump.
