Unfortunately your assessment is dead on. Originally I thought that perhaps Trump was simply playing to his white supremacist base, that surely he did not truly agree with the white power cause. Now it has become clear that he is NOT just giving it lip service. He is a true believer in the Nazi philosophy, and as such he presents the greatest domestic threat that this nation has ever known. Not only is Trump a bonafide Nazi defender, he has deep seated psychological issues which make him totally unfit to hold the office of POTUS.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your grandfather's service to this country. If men and women like him had not stepped forward during WWII, we would be under the thumb of the Third Reich today - no doubt whatsoever, because the nations of Europe could not stand against Hitler alone. Trump's evil words violate the memory of those patriots in a way that none of us could have ever imagined.

I've seen polls from before the civil war that were massively anti-jew, we know the treatment of women and gays so this is where I struggle. Not to mention other religions.
