White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told a reporter Friday that it would be “highly inappropriate” to get into a debate with “a four-star Marine general” over whether he misstated facts.

well we can be pretty sure if it were a liberal general you would likely be very fast to call it lie.
reading the various threads that touch on this one can see right wingers saying "mistake" when the very same right wingers call good honest reporters liars day after day after day.
If being wrong makes you a liar than Kelly is a big old liar. Otherwise No Recess you need to give reporters, dems cons etc the benefit of the doubt too.
i would add Kelly is chief of staff if he is going to the podium without having his staff fact check his comments then he is not doing his job like a professional. Hell my partner reviews used to review my mails before sending them to big clients to ensure everything was in order..

The reporters in the room need to figure out better countermeasures to her tricks. she is forever patently lying , dismissing real questions and saying she will find out later (when she can make up a good answer)
