It's gotten evil.

Oregon passes a law that requires all medical centers to perform abortions up to 9 months! It must be performed under any circumstance requested by the pregnant mother, which INCLUDES gender preference--If someone is disappointed she is having a girl (and it always is inevitably girls who are aborted at a much higher rate), Oregon must use its state funds to eradicate the baby.

MADNESS

It doesn't end there! Iceland has recently been praised for it's extremely low incidence of down-syndrome born babies. Why? Essentially they GET RID OF THEM by prenatal testing and abortion. SICK. What kind of message are we sending to down-syndrome individuals in society? That their life has less value?

How far is this all going to go?

Pure evil.

You don't have a link. Do you have a reputable one that spells out all you have stated above?

Oregon is probably the best place to die in the US. If you don't believe me you should go visit sometime.

Advocacy Groups Condemn Iceland

As someone who believes that all life is precious, I find all this repulsive.

We adopted an infant with Down syndrome 31 years ago. There is no reason to abort a baby with Down syndrome. We were on a waiting list to adopt and today, even more singles/couples wait to adopt a baby with Down syndrome, just waiting for the call that "their" baby is ready to come home to them: Home - NDSAN While I realize the article talks about Iceland, births of babies with Down syndrome are down in the USA meaning far too many are choosing to eliminate people with Down syndrome.

Life had been so devalued. I believe that is why we see so many kill their babies or children, and why many take their own lives.

"Abortion stops a beating heart." even PP has agreed on that. http://www.weeklystandard.com/planne...article/823851

Why would someone specifically wait to adopt a baby with a particular genetic syndrome?

One obvious answer is because they appear to be unloved by those who wish to abort them, or wish they had.

You'd be surprised how many people adopt babies with genetic syndromes just because they want children... they see them as nothing less.

Won't be long before the left will be advocating for 15th trimester abortion.

We gotta keep progressing, right?

If you read the actual law passed, you would understand that my statements are true in effect. But you wouldn't bother, would you?
