Just like Mueller hasn't charged Trump with anything, but they are after something right? Hey, this stuff takes time, remember that?

I was thinking the same thing, misleading title.

It's near impossible to find a link on this story that does not describe him as her aide. Left/Right/center. They all describe him as an aide.

I'm not surprised. She is just as crooked as Crooked Hillary. She rigged the Primary election so Hillary would win over Bernie, so what do you expect? She is a criminal NYC Carpetbagger.

Got to wonder how some people make it in the world.

I mean, I'm no fan of DWS but . . . . I see nothing here at this juncture. Someone wake me when they actually have something on DWS.

In the US, the normal procedure is to gather enough evidence for the charges to stick before going for an indictment.

They've obviously got enough evidence for them to think the bank fraud charges will stick, but not enough yet for the other possible charges.

"Awan, a longtime IT staffer who worked for more than two dozen House Democrats,"

Charges revised against ex-Wasserman Schultz aide - POLITICO

How could someone who worked for more than two dozen different people, also be an aide to one of them?

That doesn't make sense.

Possibly, but that is based on purely on unsubstantiated conjecture.

He had company and the company charged by the hour to various clients, based on the work/number of hours done at each client. Kind of like when you hire a landscaper to cut your grass. They cut your grass but also they cut grass for other clients. Some clients have bigger lawns and/or hire them for other landscaping stuff. So they might spend more time at the accounts that hire them to do more landscaping. But all the clients get billed for the work that is done. Over time, some new clients hire you and other old clients no longer use your services.

His company had several consultants(people) which did work at various clients(diff US House members) over the years. Just like some landscaping companies have several employees that do landscaping for various clients.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz's aide Imran Awan and his wife indicted on bank fraud charges | Miami Herald

The indictment states that Awan and Alvi conspired to obtain home equity lines of credit for $165,000 and $120,000 from a credit union on two properties. They provided false information that the properties were Alvi’s principal residence and second home when they actually rented out the homes.
Someone in the industry can chime in. I wonder why that matters? It's a loan he either qualifies or he doesn't.
Does it have to do with property tax that the loan is paying? Some states give property tax deductions for houses owned and not for houses rented out.
