Mexico isn't paying for it. Trump's trying to stick it to the US taxpayer.

The wall is ancient technology anyway. It's like buying a bunch of typewriters.

The Democrats will never sign off on Trump's ridiculous wall, and the Republicans can't get a spending bill through without them. And Trump has made enemies out of his own party, so the Republicans have absolutely no reason to fight for anything he wants.

The wall is DOA. And that's a GOOD thing for America. Let's put that money on things that will really be of benefit to the American people, like roads and bridges and the grid.

More than a million people died, building the Great Wall of China. Using slave labor like they did, would be the only way to build this one. Maybe if we become a dictatorship, democrats will become involuntary laborers on it?

Trump just put the kibosh on roads, bridges and the grid by dissolving the Council on Infrastructure. It was his way of getting back at corporate heads who jumped the ship from his other councils. Trump's infrastructure plan was to use a combination of private corps and federal funding to provide infrastructure updating. The plan was to give the improved roads and bridges to the private corps and they could make their money back by running and maintaining them. Now they have no input to infrastructure and my guess is that any infrastructure effort is dead, for this presidency. Trump knows it would have meant billions to corporations. It's not being reported so much but it's really a big stick in the eye to corporations, not to mention America.
It's his way of sticking it to the corporate leaders who bailed on him. Trump never lets a perceived affront go unanswered.

After all is said and done, it's never about America or the people, all his decisions are about and for him.

Looks like the Liberals may be right; we won't need a wall after all.

Previous administrations created the need for a wall. Trump, as promised, is taking steps to remove the asinine executive orders that created so many illegal aliens.
