They're saying the reason he (was fired, heh heh) is that he got too much attention. Picture on the cover of Time Magazine, giving interviews, etc. Trump got jealous because he wants the attention for himself. Would be better if he got (fired) because of being a Neo Nazi though.

Breibart and NYT reporting Bannon resigned 8/7:

Breitbart News Network

Bannon's last public comments as a whitehouse spokesperson was " there was no military solution for NK" which walked over Trump's huff and puffery. I believe Bannon was spot on.

Exactly, I also think Bannon is out because he did that interview where he made it clear that he thinks Trump's base of white nationalists are a bunch of clowns. The best way to lose your job in the Trump administration is to tell someone the truth.

When you get right down to it, Trump won because of a few hundred thousand swing white working class swing voters in a few swing states. They responded largely due to his message of economic nationalism, nativism, and promise of draining the swamp in the form of the permanent political class and financial/technical elite. This is 100% Steve Bannon.

Almost nothing has been done from Trump's promises. The best thing that has been done is the nomination of Neil Gorsuch, maybe followed closely by the immigration proposal. We took on healthcare first, blew our political wad on it, instead of winning much easier fights in taxes and infrastructure.

Trump won because of Bannon's messaging, and has sided with Democrats like Cohn and Kushner. The administration has become an extension of the swamp.

Trump has driven the dagger into the heart of his own base. Much of the base is going to walk away now.

But the sad truth is that Bannon isn't the real problem. The person who thought it was a good idea to hire him is the problem.
Bannon got Trump in office.
