No, they see it as "Good, that one is gone !". Problem is, Trump appointed these guys, and he "Hires only the very, very best people, believe me !"

When you see a company where the turnover is constant, that company is in trouble. When you see an administration where the turnover is like a revolving door, that administration is out of control and a mess. The only one who hangs in there is Kelly Anne, though. I swear, she must have compromising pictures of Trump, or something.........she should have been the first to go.

As has been pointed out........many were on the council before Trump ever became president.

You can legitimately argue this without making things up.

Arts council is susceptible to propaganda and willing to participate in character assassination, lies and propaganda based on the the hijacked democrat party's hate and fear mongering campaign.

No true artist would endorse membership in any orgaization with Arts in the title.

An artist cannot be bound by an organization's confining rules and direction.

Spelling RESIST is the stuff of 1st grade grammar school art project and the proud product of an arts council pretending to creative with a tunted imagination.

These government art programs haven't produced any great art -- neither have the universities -- so most of their programs are "artist in the school" type stuff where some no talent is paid to impose him or herself on innocent kids. Sad.

Any parent who wants to expose his children to great art needs to take them to Europe to see the great museums -- the Louvre, the Rijksmuseum, the Ufizzi, etc. -- as well as the great cathedrals, abbeys, chateaux, palaces and country houses....

Yes. It is a big deal.

A very big deal.

The people on that council are the ones who make the wheels turn in our enormous entertainment industry.

And the arts go far beyond just the motion picture industry; our music industry, theater, art museums, galleries, arts schools and institutions, all generate millions of dollars daily world-wide and employ hundreds of thousands of Americans in all kinds of jobs that are connected to it.

Even the world's fashion industry is part of the arts world. So is the publishing industry, and the internet depends on the arts to survive.

And the council represented it all.

The were all the small group whose influence extends to about everything you look at, wear, listen to, watch, or read. And the influence doesn't stop there.
Your vehicle, your living space, every appliance you have ever used, every communication device, every civic space, public park, building design, the way your food looks, all has been influenced or created by the arts.

Trump, idiot that he is, doesn't realize his own fortune depends on the arts. But now that he's been cut off, he soon will. Without their support, "trump" means nothing but an action in a card game.

So, yeah. It is a big deal. And clever people do come up with very interesting ways to show their power.

Better believe that power extends far past elementary school, too.
Mike I appreciate your posts and understand what you are saying. But since the arts are very important to the US then it seems a group would not abandon their calling by politicking. It smacks of "I'm going to take my ball and go home." Trump does have his own issues and they are many but how does this further the arts? It doesn't and it is a political decision only.

Yeah, I guess they "think" that when they're inventing bluegrass music and playing fiddle and banjo with great skill and musical panache.

That does appear to be what's happening...
