Default Rumor: Elaine Chao Will Be the Next Trump Cabinet Member to Resign

Mitch McConnell's wife Elaine Chao may be forced to resign in scandal from Donald Trump's cabinet - Palmer Report

Not news, not fake news, the link is to one person's speculation. But it makes sense, she's in a direct conflict of interest position with her stock holdings versus the work she oversees. It was also rumored she was appointed because Trump wanted to call in a favor from McConnell, in the hopes he would cancel or back off on the Russia investigation. Now that McConnell and Trump dislike each other I wouldn't be surprised if Trump fires Chao just to spite McConnell.

The parade of resignations from the White House is just getting started. Wait until the indictments come out...

My money is on Mnuchin and/or Cohn after the tax plan tanks.

What's with the "Rumor:" thing?

If it makes Trump look bad, any story based on conjecture or anonymous sources is always presented with the headline "Breaking:......!!!"

When Chao's husband, head Swamp Creature Mitch McConnell, resigns (he has an 18% approval rating in his own state) it would be awkward for her to stay. No one wants McConnell around.

Then Schumer and Pelosi can retire.

I try not to abuse the Thread Titles as much as the pro-Trumpers do

That's a good guess too. Either way, the parade of resignations isn't over yet, not by a long shot.

Trump appointed Chao to please her husband McConnell so there is no reason for her to stay. She is as much a creature of the Swamp as her husband. They are rich enough..

The only thing well-oiled around here are the bs and lies being spewed from the collective rectums of the American left. Even Atlantic Magazine can't swallow the swill and called "The Palmer Report, the publication of record for anti-Trump conspiracy nuts who donít care about the credibility of the record"

You libs love this krap...who cares if it's true, right?
