Nope, sorry, there was nothing about marathons in his statement. The wheels of justice always grind slowly. Are you not aware of this?

Some of you are absolutely unbelievable, excusing possible corruption, abuse of process, targeting individuals or groups for IRS review due to their politics, misconduct in office and likely perjury by calling it a "deflection".

No, it's holding government officials responsible for their conduct. We've been hearing about Nixon's transgressions for more than 40 years and now a Democratic Administration did some of the same things and it's to be nulled out because they're out of office.

Sorry, I've seen too much governmental corruption at all levels here in Maryland and when I lived in Pennsylvania to be blase about it.

The wheels had already ground. We spent millions on hearings. They are going to do nothing and you know it.

When will you start holding them accountable?

The Obama Justice Department dismissed the IRS political targeting scandal as no big deal, and the Trump Administration hasn’t been any better. At least the judiciary is still trying to hold someone to account for this government abuse.

..........The Trump Administration also has a duty to provide some answers. The Justice Department and IRS have continued to resist the lawsuits as doggedly as they did in the Obama era. Attorney General Jeff Sessions can change that by ordering government attorneys to quickly and fully comply with Judge Walton’s orders. Seven years is too long to wait for answers over abuses of the government’s taxing power.

because congress has the legal power to arrest and charge people with crimes, I thought that was a DOJ function, am I right?

This was a government abuse of power, and they are still litigating it. Ignore the thread if you want to keep your head in the sand.

I'm a little flabbergasted that you think the government has the right to do this stuff, and we should just take it lying down. This impacts citizens of the United States far more than removing inanimate objects that have been there for a 100 years. Wake up!
