That's a somewhat dated story, the quotes/interviews pre-date Bannon's departure.

My fear is that Bannon's ouster will give spineless GOP Senators and Speaker Ryan, reason to believe this administration has turned itself around. It has not and will not, given trump's track record. But I think he will get a second honeymoon from the GOP. But in a few short months, they will be back to wondering what to do with trump as he again screws up their tax and infrastructure agenda, just like he did on healthcare.

The GOP Congress have no one to blame for their problems but themselves. Typically they always try and blame someone else.

I did not vote for Trump and I do not support him BUT he isn't the reason they will not live up to their promises.
