Trump violates almost every one of the Ten Commandments on a weekly basis, and the Evangelicals love him. He's basically the opposite of Jesus' teachings.
But they hated Obama, a modest church-going family man who never courted controversy. Gee, I wonder why? What could it possibly be?
After Tump revealed both his ignorance and racism this past week the American corporate leadership, generals in his own administration, scores of republican senators and congressman, and thought leaders across America all came out against his remarks and thinking on white supremacists and Nazis.
I find it both shocking and troubling that the one group that has stayed silent are the evangelical leaders of our country. What are they waiting for?
Im not sure what you mean by pro-gun, but supporting the freedom to purchase an inanimate object isnt a mortal sin.
A gun is a killing machine. Kinda hard to be "pro-life" and then advocate for the proliferation of mass-killing machines to everyone, no matter how crazy or unhinged.
Um, all the Evangelicals are for the death penalty, for foreign wars, etc. They're pro-gun. They have no problem with eliminating healthcare, or aid to mothers. They have no issue with the U.S. having the highest infant mortality rate in the developed world.
They don't care about "thou shall not kill".
There's zero mention of abortion in the Bible, and it was never an issue in Christianity until recent times. Nowadays fundamentalists have no problem with killing millions of actual living people, but go crazy about abortion. Once the kid is born, though, you can kill him, apparently.
One the baby is born they don't care about it any longer only that it was born. No, it's not in the bible this is something they made up themselves.

One guess. Color.
Joy Reid interviewed one former and one current member of trump's evangelical council. It's the first 14 minutes or so - it basically came down to abortion and gay marriage - getting the "right" people on SCOTUS.[/quote]
The most common problem is that BOTH parties make promises like getting rid of abortion, it's just another lie to get into office.
Unfortunately many have switched Gods they follow Mammon ($$) now so trump is their moses-- but I'm not surprised- God does send spirit of delusion- to confuse those truly not hearing His voice- He gives them a chance to hear the truth, and then----

But it leads to more deaths, in massive numbers.. if it is LIFE than Evangelicals care about, you would think they would be anti-gun.
It looks like Evangelicals are pro-life while life is still inside the womb (or at least pro-life for the fetus, they don't seem to care about the mother, only the contents of her womb.), but anti-life once that life exists outside the mother's body

Guns, drugs, cars, knives, etc...sorry no sale.
Its the person who wields the tool, not the tool itself, that is the responsible party.

Getting rid of abortion has never been an agenda item for any party but the GOP.
These so-called evangelicals care about 2 things: abortion and gay marriage/rights. That's it. They have sold their souls to the Devil in order to get a conservative on SCOTUS. They will hopefully regret their decision as they burn in hell for all eternity.
You are missing the point on this issue. Yes as followers of Christ, Sin and Abortion are always on our awareness. Political dealings is not everyday business and there is always Gods will on events and the path of the follower.
HRC and the DNC represented a Evil that could not be disregarded anymore. This is way Christians came out of the wood work. (Jesus was a Carpenter)
The every day business of the Church is Out reach and studying the word of God. No one sold their souls to Satan. If any has we could look at what is happing t Clinton ,Lynch, Pedesta, The Clinton Team and finally Shultz.
