Players can and will continue to promote their politics during the platform that they choose, and they couldn't care less what you do or don't want to see. You're free to change the channel or mute the TV.
And they may face consequences from their team, ownership, etc., which I am okay with, as well.
.
I didn't miss any point.
If I pay to see a football game and they protest or whatever, that is forcing their politics down my throat because what I am paying for is a football game and I am stuck in the stands. If I had wanted to see politics, I would have paid for a ticket to a political rally.
Therefore, I ALREADY HAVE ELECTED TO DO EXACTLY AS YOU HAVE SUGGESTED: I do not go to games, watch it on television or buy merchandise. That is what I said. I don't care if the players don't don't care what I do and, yes, they can continue to do whatever they do unless management puts a stop to it. Management may care if a sufficient number of people feel as I do. If a sufficient number don't feel as I do, that is their prerogative. It still won't make me watch football.
The washed up moron is done. Some B league tv station will pick him up so he shouldn't cry too much. Dude had the world and chose to stick his neck out to be cut off. Wah Wah Wah. Did I say moron? Yep.
You can expect people to "tolerate" you. You can't force people to like you.

He is love sick over his activist, radical Muslim girlfriend. She's turned him into the activist he now is, and he is paying the price.
Any sports figure who signs a hefty ,$$$ contract is paid by the gate revenue that can also hurt the team owners bottom line if the player creates a distraction.
Old line..." Never bite the hand that feeds you". as he has found out.
Pretty magnanimous for a bunch of officers who risk their lives in their jobs and make less than $100,000 a year. Why they would support a man who made millions and millions throwing a football and has called police officers racists is beyond me. I wouldn't watch Kaepernick's team play on TV even if he was a bench warmer and my team was playing against his team.

How in the world can the NAACP and others try to make this about race when blacks are vastly over represented in football as it is? Pretty tough to make a case that blacks are somehow discriminated against.
As for Colin, it was a tough lesson to learn but while it was his right to do as he did, it is not his right to demand that there are no consequences.

Yeah, you did.
Maybe try again, I don't care either way.
