The homicides are awful and we need to find answers to it. Black Americans have a homicide death rate, 19.4 per 100,000 persons, that is about 12 times higher than the average rate among all people in other developed countries.https://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/...ped-countries/
White people cannot fix it. It has to be the community that fixes it. And it sucks that it makes for such a horrible reason to have strife between people.
Gangs and organized crime use the poor and give them opportunity to make money and the lie that they can steal or deal drugs to get out of poverty.
Legalize marijuana and death penalty for manufacturers of hard drugs. Users of all drugs should be treated as victims. Those selling should be prosecuted hard. There's a big difference between users and sellers/manufacturers. Gangs and organized crime should be priority number 1 for police departments and courts. Police departments should be properly funded and not allowed to keep proceeds from criminals and crimes.
Do those things and crime would drop 60% in this country.
To be honest, I'm pretty sure you know exactly what it means, but if you want to argue that it means something else, then break it down for us, you had something in mind when you made the claim that the bottom 10% commit 90% of violent crime.

There you go again! Stop ASSUMING what I meant. I TOLD YOU what I meant. I also retracted the LITERAL 90 percent. Its a very high percent. I saw 90 in an article but I won't commit to that. I retract the 90 percent..hell it might be more..i dont know.
Not committing crime is an easy thing to do, in my case anyway. Not being looked down because of your race, that is actually harder. You can control yourself, you can't control what someone else thinks of you.
We can't force other people to respect us by beating them up or calling them names, either. In fact, I would argue such tactics have the opposite effect.

I was trying to have a conversation with you about this in a rational manner. Because anything any white person says is taken the wrong way was my point. I don't know all the problems in black communities but they sure do. But if the answer is to blame someone else then nothing will change.
