A man with common sense and a great role model for the black community. How refreshing.
Ha ha!!! You think so? Why can't he be a good role model for all people? Charles is not the smartest Charles needs to take a class Public Speaking, trying articulate is his weakness .
If he said, take them down would you feel the same way? Would he still a role model? I remember Charles saying he did not like being called a role model for anyone kids. Read it for your self..
I do agree there are more acute things in the world to worry about than statues. Each STATE/CITY has to make their own decision...In the end. "What Will Be, Will Be" not running my BP up because of stone, cement, granite I do not know what product they use to make the statues.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
WHAT AN UNCLE TOM! How dare he say that! He is stupid and not a real Black person! -says the typical white liberal when they see a minority saying something that doesn't go 100% with their agenda
I understand why some want to remove the statues, because they have an agenda of scrubbing American history. But why are regular people falling for it? Nobody had a problem with these statues for decades, now it's a problem.
What does removing statues actually do that helps anything? No one's life is better. Communities aren't improved.... what's the practical point?

Fokay. Go back and see all the wacko things Charles the round mound and see how many you ascribe to. And if you want to go down the road of citing athletes wisdom...well all I will say is you will regret that.
Barkley is a national treasure. He says what ever he thinks ( it's why him and Jordan are no longer friends) and no one is going to to tell him how to think.
Right or wrong, Barkley won't be anyone's or anything's victim, especially a statue.
I'm guessing there millions of blacks that think the same as Charles "The round mound of rebound" Barkley. Perhaps they see those statues and think how race relations have progressed since then....I know I do.
