What punishment should this man get??
This is HORRIFIC.... please do not read if you get quesy at a disgustingly evil story 
Man Accused of Forcing Daughter, 7, to Kill Pet Cat
Thursday , March 13, 2008 
MUNCIE, Ind. —
A man was jailed Thursday on charges he forced his 7-year-old daughter to kill the family cat by holding a knife in her hand and making her stab the pet.
Danield J. Collins, 39, told his children during a visit to his home on Sunday that he wanted them to "learn how to kill" and gave his 11-year-old son a knife to do it, according to an affidavit filed in the case.

Wow. This guy has some problems. Child abuse, animal cruelty, and trying to train his kids to kill for the sake of killing.
Animals are not people, so I don't think he should be punished as if it was person, but this guy is obviously severely screwed up and I hope he does some serious time. Serious time involving being sodomized by skinheads in prison.

I think he needs severe psychiatric help whilst in prison and his kids removed from him forever.
Cruelty to animal, cruelty to children.
Maybe he needs a stint in a high security jail with some people who also like picking on people smaller than themselves and have a lot of time to do it....

My stepfather would force me and my mother to take our pet cats to the shelter because he could not stand the fact that the cats did not "love" him. I met him once after I got back from 'Nam and was going to play a little "catch up". When I realized how old, lonely, pathetic and drunk he had become I wished him a long and miserable life and let him live. This explains at least part of one of my personalities.
This clown should be impaled. Where is Dracula when we need him?

Frank -I do not agree with you very often but you are exactly right. Most of us do not teach children to kill things they love. This guy is not only sick, he is dangerous.

He should go to jail for a long time. He sounds like a horrible person, but any other punishment is just revenge.
EDIT: Actually, the castration people sort of have a point (he shouldn't be having any more kids), but it would have to be a voluntary, "you have to stay in jail way longer if we don't do this" thing, not something forced -- like the option they gave the guy in A Clockwork Orange but the treatment wouldn't be as messed up as that.
