Sadly he's not even poorly educated. I knew about him before he latched onto the white supremacy stuff, and he came across as very angry and emotional, but fairly knowledgeable. Not a dumb guy, just has some issues.
Just some background, he used to be part of the liberty movement and even spoke at some events, but he started calling for violence, wasn't invited to speak again, and things just went downhill from there.
I watched some of his interview with Karen Straughan yesterday and he wasn't all that outrageous or unreasonable, at least in the first 15 minutes or so that I saw. My impression is that he's actually a pretty smart guy but his emotions can really mess with his thinking.
