These people fleeing the US aren't legally refugee's since the US is considered safe and no one coming from the US can be considered a refugee. Just like someone crossing into the US from Canada can't.
These people fall under illegal immigrants. They are all checked etc and each case will be determined on it's own merits.
It's strange times in the US, so the question is , will Canada ignore the 3rd country agreement, and accept some of these people or send them back to the US etc.

The vetting process in Canada is designed to send them back.... you get a handful of judges that are backlogged for a year and if the refugees don't make it to the judge in a couple of months they are sent back... that's how the leftist in Canada do it, oh sorry you ran out of time, we are sending you back... the leftist hate the refugees and intentionally send them back and blame it on the rules... why not increase the number of judges and waive the rule to see a judge within a certain time frame? Cause underneath, liberals are the same as everyone they hate....
Oh please. Canada's immigration rules and refugee rules haven't changed. People who are allowed to stay will stay. Others will be sent back. This isn't new. What is new is the amount fleeing the US.
Just because you guys practically allowed illegal immigrants to stay in the US when Canada doesn't, doesn't make Canada anything but consistent.
Love how YOUR issues and lack of managing your own immigration issues, is somehow a reason to gloat about Canada having to deal with your mess.
Another illusory superior Canuck, eh? I would never block anyone. I am not fearful or unable to deal with different opinions, ideas, ways of viewing situations. It is a big, beautiful, diverse and interesting world out there. Why would I hide from it?

Canada's immigration system isn't perfect, but if we could replace the US immigration system with Canada's, that'd be great. It's much stricter for those illegally in the country and doesn't allow much wiggle room for work visas. Canada also has the huge advantage of having only a well developed country on its border.

Now, in late August, when faced with a flood of 3,800 in the first two weeks of August, on top of the almost 3,000 in July; the mostly Haitian illegal-immigrants coming across the U.S. border into Quebec, are maybe not so welcomed....
Maybe your country should erasure those who are in your country legally that they can remain there would slow down or halt this problem.
