You should march right on over to fort bragg and demand they change it, camp lejeune was named after a war hero from Louisiana whose father was in confederacy. They should name it after some non miltary metrosexual liberal like Camp Joe Scarborough,Fort Colin Kaepernick, USS Lena Dunham.

I don't care if they were retroactively made US soldiers or if they had superior military skills. They're the very definition of traitors and should have been executed for treason the day after the civil war ended.
