The Left still think Fox News is the most biased news network in existence, while CNN is still in the middle.
The left has been crazy... they are not about to be less crazy even if you show them a mirror... they would likely scream obscenities at themselves and not realize they were talking to their own reflection...
Folks...obviously you dont understand what the study is showing.
If you had some mass murderer that tortured people to death for giggles...would you want to listen to the news that said good things about him 50% of the time? Would THAT be the balanced news you wanted?
I can't believe you people fall for things like this.
So...who has Trump tortured to death? (note-liberal's heads exploding when confronted with reality doesn't count)
Just because some networks have negative coverage of somebody, does not mean they aren't "balanced." It may just be that the person they are covering really, truly is a moron who deserves every bit of scorn he receives. If networks have negative coverage of a moron, they're just being honest. If any network has negative or even just 50-50 coverage of a moron, THEY are the ones who are actually unbalanced.
I think this bears repeating. It has nothing to do with torturing anyone to death. It has everything to do with the media giving to somebody what they deserve, and whether doing so is 'fair and balanced.' Right-wingers can't seem to understand it. When you explain logic to them, their heads explode.

I just noticed that too.
The link the OP posted has nothing to do with political bias.
It was simply whether the article studied was negative or positive. A negative article is not always biased against just as a positive article isn't always biased in favor of something.
I agree with this portion of the article in the OP:
Quote:
"The fact that Trump has received more negative coverage than his predecessor is hardly surprising. The early days of his presidency have been marked by far more missteps and miss-hits, often self-inflicted, than any presidency in memory, perhaps ever," Patterson wrote.
I think he does have more negative press because he does not exude a high level of professionalism (he is immature), he attempts to rush through things that need more thought and consideration and framing (the immigration "ban" which was mentioned as having the highest amount of negative press and rightly so. He signed an EO with no implementation policy in place or ready to go into place and didn't take long enough to frame the language), and also doesn't know how to shut up about certain things - like the Charlottesville thing of late (he recently gave a speech about his Charlottesville speech at a rally) and even in the not too distant past (spoke too often and had his staff too often speak of "crowd sizes" at his inauguration. This is a non-story/non-issue that he made an issue).
So I think he is just not a decent leader and when people see that - and the press is run by people - they will pounce upon every opportunity they get to denigrate you. You get up and make contradictory statements, outright lies, or continuously bring up controversial statements that you, yourself, stated as president and you are apt to be treated negatively by the press.
