She changed her clothes, period, on the plane, not just her shoes to sneakers. She was wearing some kind of back top in DC and a white shirt in TX. Oh wait, are you now going to tell us it's because she's racist?
Nope, But I will point out that only an Idiot would whine about something that another poster never said or even had an issue with.
Humanity isn't taking advantage of a crisis and submitting pork into the relief bill. That is what he was fighting.
There was VERY little pork in that bill. The Texas Delegation was complaining about money for repairs to the Smithsonian's roof, but that damage was a result of the same storm that ravaged the New York area.
Now the Texas Delegation is crying about how "we can't play politics in times like this," but that's exactly what they played in 2012. Now they're being called out on it, and they don't like it.
Yeah, in 2012, they didn't see this ****storm coming, so they played their little games to score points against Obama. But now, the shoe is on the other foot....we should twist the hell out of that shoe while the foot is in it so we can make it hurt a little.

Even if I disagree with some people's political perspective in TX (especially in regards to 2012 emergency funding), we should help the people in TX.
We should be better than this - there are real people in TX that need help. Many of them probably are similar to you politically. They should not be punished for what some of their government figures have done/said in the past.
Excuse me for interrupting the Non-Stop Trump hate for a minute for some News the Houston/Coastal Bend area can use.
Governor Abbott does a televised new conference daily with updates on what's going on and information for those in harms way. Try to find it - always useful information (I suspect the Leftist Media is not televising these press briefings.
FYI: CNN has non-stop coverage of the flooding and has televised all press briefings.
When they use up their $10B rainy day fund surplus, then help. Most states don't have a surplus. We don't know what other natural or manmade disasters may be down the road.
This. We've been hearing Texas lawmakers boast about their "rainy day fund" forever. Look outside, folks. It's raining. They need to tap into this and use it now. Once they go through it, and they most likely will, then let the federal government aid step in.
Texas loves to tell everyone that they are independent and could easily make it on their own. Time to put their money were their mouths are. What is a rainy day fund for if they don't use it when the rain comes?
no. Texans hate waste in the name of emergency help.
Texans believe in helping and believe there is a real role for government. We just tend to see pork for what it is.
PS Alaskan Fisheries were not jeopardized by Hurricane Sandy.
Are you gonna tell us that Texas Delegation members have never snuck pork into an Emergency funding bill?
