ever since Trump's press conference, Antifa and the Alt left has been getting more attention. Even outlets like ABC and The Washington Post have been forced to acknowledge them. Before that press conference nobody had any idea who they were, now they are in the public consciousness. Looks like the latest attempt to "Bring down Trump" blew up in their faces again

The Washington Post never "supported" some fringe group like Antifafa. Obviously they are opposed to violence, whether coming from Trump cult Neo Nazis or anarchist types.
I don't know how you can say that. Here is a very positive article supportive of Antifa in WaPo just a couple of weeks ago.
This quote hits the trifecta foe funny, sad, and disgusting:

It hasn't been obvious at all. Democrat and GOP leaders have not made it obvious either. They should be ask to condemn every time they are questioned by so call reporters.
But they are also reactive to public opinion. As more and more comes out about the tactics and motives of antifa and related anarcho-communist "groups", they will bend just as major conservative outlets will about people supporting Jim Crow racism under the guise of recognizing history.
Poor Trump supporters. They actually think someone is listening to them. We all know anarchists exist. We also know their numbers are very small and they don't represent the left. Anarchist don't represent any party by definition. Please get a dictionary. The closest thing to anarchism is libertarianism.
You lost credibility since you questioned Obama's birth certificate and no one listens to your lies and nonsense.
Trump was still elected it must never be forgotten. Antifa might be small but their huge influence and impact on voters will gift the 2020 election to Trump.
Antifa will go down as one of the biggest failures of 2017 by year end.
Sargon posted his "Antifa and Black Bloc Explained" video in January. They have been fairly active for ten months. They have had an online presence for a while. They have what you might call "cells" on a number of college campuses (including Everygreen State College). I know a few people organizing UNT Antifa in Denton, TX (where I lived for 9 years). They have perpetrated violence and destruction in a number of US cities, including Seattle, Portland, Berkeley, San Fran, DC, and others.
And big media is just now noticing? Nobody knew what Antifa was?
Why do we revere these vast media corporations? They seem slow, out of touch, and partisan.
