I presume you're talking about Louise Mensch and Claude Taylor, who are active on Twitter. I follow a couple thousand Dems on Twitter, and I'd say about 1 in 20, mostly very young people, fell for their outrageous bs.

The rest of us would routinely mute/block anyone who retweeted Mensch or Taylor because it was too ridiculous to be believed, e.g., the time Mensch claimed a Supreme Court "marshall" had boarded Air Force One to serve Trump with an "impeachment subpoena".

It's long been clear that Mensch's motives were 2-fold: she loves the limelight and she was trying to sow disinformation in an attempt to discredit the left. She's a far right-winger.
Taylor's motives were less clear; IMO he's just a dumb stooge who also liked the attention and didn't care how he got it.

The overwhelming response among Twitter Dems is relief that the duo has been hopefully conclusively outed (by a couple of Dems) as the charlatans they are.

I'm laughing a lot the past couple of days now that they've been caught with a bogus story that they didn't even bother to question, in any way, at all.
