I mean, your argument sounds cute and all but does not fare well with reality, in this country we have about 80% of the people who will vote for their party no matter what, the right wing propaganda targets the rest, among them, millions that are highly suggestionable people, like the ones
that believe in the horoscope, allien abductions, the chupacabras, etc.also the millions that buy "Medical Remedies" by Kevin Trudeau (lol), then while the democrats are trying to debate issues , the right wing is telling all these people,why they should not vote for the democrats, using all kind of lies and innuendos, bringing fear to their lives.
This time they began by trashing Hillary, and along with a very good campaign by Obama, Obama has become a "super candidate", now the right wing extremists feel they went too far, so what do they do? they bring the race card to the game earlier than planned (they were pulling it anyway) did they blew it? is it too late? I beleive the answer is yes, and in November president Obama will be elected by a landslide.

Funny you mention that. I've been thinking lately about becoming a rabidly leftist mole over there.
What I find really funny is how the folks to the left can see critical flaws in folks like Rush, folks to the right can see critical flaws in sites like democratic underground, yet others state that both parties work together in a conspiracy orchestrated by shadow organizations.
I'll go with the folks who think the other party is wacky, I think they have a more accurate picture of the political realities. The conspiracy folks still have to give me the name of the puppet master (please, no YouTube links to David Rockefeller).

People THINK there's two parties. In their minds, there are two parties that oppose each other. That's what our political establishment wants you to believe. As long as that is the 'reality' they put forth, everyone will THINK they have a choice.
In reality, there is ONE party with two heads. There is no choice, just the illusion of one.
