Shortly after the government shutdown of 2013 Obama said if Republicans didn't like his policies they should go out there and "win an election" instead of undermining his policies.

That's what the GOP did, and now they have started to implement their own policies. The difference is, the GOP policy will be established as law instead of executive order.

"Elections have consequences", said that most arrogant of presidents. But now Obama has changed his mind. NOW, changing DACA has become a "moral question". Nothing new there. Democrats always feel that their policies - legal or not - are "moral questions". Climate change; DACA; health care... all moral questions.

The Democrats are afraid Trump will actually follow through and accomplish his campaign goals. They can do nothing but call Republicans racist, homophobes, climate change deniers. And now that Trump has found ad hoc allies in Chuck and Nancy, Democrats are almost speechless.

What Next??!!

MAGA

What's next, Congress making DACA Law, Trump signing that law, and the far right screaming and stopping their little feet.

All Democrats call all Republicans racist, homophobes, climate change deniers? Just your opinion, that is all.

We need more cooperation between the parties, both of which I don't belong to. Pelosi is a big reason we need term limits as well as McConnell.

I'm sure we will get along fine without the "dreamers", so, NO, we shall have no such law.

It is a wonderful thing that our beloved President Trump brushed back the previous "office holder's" foray into dictatorial power, by rescinding DACA.

Stand by for more of MAGA.

But he will make the Supreme Court conservative for the next 20 years........ which is the only reason most of the people who voted for him did so.

...but this sounds like a textbook case of victory fatigue.

Carry on.

Congress in both parties maintain the status quo and when they cooperate they agree on that to the detriment of most Americans.

personally i think we need immigration reform. we need to make it easier for those that want to come to this country legally to become permanent residents or citizens. i have no problem with legal immigrants.

i also have no problem with DACA either, except that it was produced by an unconstitutional executive order. had it gone through congress, and passed through both houses, and sent to the presidents desk for signature into law, i would have no problem with it.

despite what some say, obama had NO legal authority to create DACA, since only congress can make federal law.
