Hopefully you won't censure this thread, my aim is not provoking, but understanding. I fail to understand international news.

So, for example in my case, I live in Spain, so it's understandable that most of the news are focused on Spain itself. But regarding international news, it is supposed logically that this consists in a record of daily news about what is going on in the entire world. And I underline entire world for a reason, just because the vast majority of the news are from United States, Donald Trump and some of North Korea. According to a quick internet research, there are 194 countries in the world, so, nothing interesting is happening outside United States? I only hear about some countries when something terrible/tragedy is happening. I can't even remember when was the last time I heard about Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Namibia, for example.

Talk to your news providers to provide a diversity of news.

Not our problem the US fascinates the world.

News sites such as the BBC and Guardian tend to have good global coverage.

BBC World News - World - BBC News

World news and comment from the Guardian | The Guardian

For instance;

Bulgaria has the fastest shrinking population in the world.

Why is Bulgaria's population falling off a cliff? - BBC News

Yes, it would be interesting to have some variety of news. I may look somewhere else to know what is happening in the world, rather than biased US news.

Interesting, I didn't know about it because nobody in TV told me.

There is a lot the media doesn't tell us. The BBC typically has more European content, but I am not a big fan of them either.

BBC is by far more interesting than our 24 hours news that is strongly biased by the most popular events in the world and "fashions" in media, I guess they just take the most appealing/popular news and just translate them into spanish. In any case, dumb news, and I am bored of them.

If you are depending on TV to 'tell' you something..you are making a mistake. News comes in many forms..newspapers, the internet and yes, TV. But staying informed is a task these days.

If you want specific news about smaller countries..subscribe to a news aggregate and adjust the filters to your preferences.

Whining about the amount of US coverage is silly, in this day and age, when you can choose and tailor what you want on the internet.

I can find anything I want to know about any country with just a few clicks.

Namibia:

Bolivia:

I could go on and on..but I think you get my point--unless this was just a post to bash the US?
