I love Trump, he gets things done and willing to work with whoever is ready. I told you Trump was going to work a deal with DACA in a legislative way in return for more border security. Now we have stronger border laws and then hopefully Reiublicans are willing to fund money for a wall. Trump is very smart and I think we can see good things continue to come from some of which Democrats will like and some Republicans will like, still most things will appeal to Republicans as expected though.
I cant see how Republicans could possibly find a silver lining in seeing a fellow Republican president work with Democrats leaving their own leaders out of the conversation-and CAVING on the issue they are the most adamant about.

Great for us Dems as it makes us look like we are getting things done, sucks for the GOP agenda tho

We never really wanted that. We LOVE those illegals. Always have."

You fool no one. Trump making a deal to allow the dreamers to stay is the exact opposite of what he campaigned on. He fired up his crowds by telling them about how fast he was going to deport them all, and then keep them out with his big, beautiful wall.

In one fell swoop he did a 180 and the dreamers are in and the wall is out.

But yeah, you're happy about it. Sure you are.

You fool no one.
I completely agree about conservatives habit of rewriting history, but not about his supporters reaction to this and all the other reversals. I believe Trump's appeal to white voters is largely downplayed and generally not reflected in the polling due to most not wanting to look like the racists they are, consciously or not.

PPP's newest national poll finds that Donald Trump's approval rating is pretty steady in the wake of the Charlottesville attack, probably because his supporters think that whites and Christians are the most oppressed groups of people in the country..."

"Trump’s overall disapproval rate is 51 percent, but he’s still holding strong among Republicans. His disapproval rate has not substantially changed all year. Charlottesville didn’t affect it."

I don't doubt that he still loves Trump, look at the polling. As long as his name calling and belittling of the Dems continues the 'shoot someone in the face' theory will still apply. His voters will accept any and all broken promises without batting an eye and like masochists they'll always come back for more...

This was false information leaked by the dems(see sarah sanders tweet). Tax reform is definitely getting done one way or another and NAFTA is being renegotiated right now.

You know they're pyssed! But like typical conservatives, they're trying to change their own narrative. Phonies.

If you think he is happy about having to do this, think again.
No wall will be built, DACA will be signed if it comes across his desk, and he says he is willing to raise taxes on billionaires.

Now that's what I call winning!!!

Of course anything would be better than trying to work with Ryan who has no spine and slithers along like a jelly fish. And who wants to deal with the turdle McConnell?

Trump probably even likes the Dem congressional leadership better. After all, he has known Schumer for years.

Sure he does. When Mueller's investigation is over, and Trump is exposed for the liar that he is, he will resign. That's his end game.

Then again, is Trump really capable of devising an end game? Based on his performance so far as president I seriously doubt it.

Trump is still talking about the election from almost a year ago and we are to believe he has an end game.

LOL

You know what would be really interesting? Is if he decided to back Sanders' 'Medicare-for-all' bill, saying something to the effect of "Republicans had their shot; let's give the other side a go." That would be going against the grain some pretty damn heavyweight bipartisanship.

But that won't happen. Trump reached out on an easy issue. That's not to say I'm not happy he reached out, but let's not make this into something it's not.
That would be very interesting, indeed, and no one could even complain about it, as he DID promise health care for all while he was campaigning. Makes one wonder...
