Doesn't sound too bad as yet, however will wait and see if there are any other linked incidents.

The Metropolitan Police have released an updated statement:
Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command are investigating after an incident on a London tube train this morning. Police were called at approximately 08:20 BST on Friday, 15 September to Parsons Green Underground Station following reports of a fire on the train.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, the senior national coordinator for CT policing, has declared it a terrorist incident.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service and British Transport Police attended the scene, along with colleagues from the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service. At present we are aware of a number of people who have suffered injuries.

It is too early to confirm the cause of the fire, which will be subject to the investigation that is now underway by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command. The station remains cordoned off and we are advising people to avoid the area.

The Prime Minister Theresa May is to chair a meeting of the government's Cobra emergencies commitee this afternoon.

Luckily the device didn't detonate properly, however who ever planted it is still out there and may plant more unless apprehended very quickly.

Lucky indeed, if it was supposed to blow up. I suppose we shall learn more as time goes on. It had crossed my mind that this may have been a 'practice' run (with perhaps deadly chemicals planned), but who knows.

One person took a photo of the plastic (apparently 5 gallon) bucket, with some black bag on top. While they are reporting some 18 injured, they also report the panic and people trampling each other, so it could be that most of the injuries occurred during the stampede to get out.

Given London's system of cameras (which are literally everywhere in the city), I bet they at least will get a shot of the person. Not that many people walking onto an underground train carrying such buckets.

You don't know that.

But, I'd say the odds are about 95% that you are correct.
