Public lashings in the town square? Totally agree, that'll teach her to wear boots that are above the knee instead of below. Those few extra inches are corrupting the children!
Is it a little provocative? Sure. That said, 4th graders won't notice or care. If she was a highschool teacher it would outright improve her efficacy as the male (and a small fraction of female) students pay more attention in class, without crossing the line into inappropriate. There is nothing wrong with her choice of attire.
I love the outfit and don't find it inappropriate. Young teachers wear those types of shoes/boots. I feel sorry for them as they do NOT look comfortable. I often ask them how they do it!
That said, the outfit looks super cute in a Star Trek sort of way. I love that style. I would wear it if I had my younger body and if my arches could stand the height of the boots. That ship has sailed, sadly.
Also, and most important, grey is my favorite color, the dress is the cut that I prefer and black leather,...can't be beat. Awesome look.
Unfortunately, FOURTH graders are the WORST when it comes to sexual innuendo. Believe me!
They don't want anybody fairly attractive in the classroom I guess. This is my only explanation.
She's being persecuted because she's trim and neatly-shaped. And the boots just add an accent to that. If she was plain in physical appearance, it would be no issue. It is a form of sexual discrimination and those people who are carrying it out are either jealous or resentful. Small, petty people.
