These people are hell bent on allowing in as many third world illegal immigrants as possible. When California becomes the hell hole it's importing and bankrupts itself with reckless fiscal irresponsibility these people will be fleeing to more stable states. Something needs to be done about this state. The elites want their slave labor and the Dems want their votes. Why aren't their working class CITIZENS speaking up?
This is not a legitimate movement nor a realistic threat. You may as well worry about TX seceding, too. Neither are likely, even if both states have a fringe element that wants it.

Most of the red states are empty land. GDP comes from blue states. We would do just fine.
As well, many of those states are "purple", not red. May as well take the 2008 and 2012 maps to try to make the point...it would be equally useless and misleading.

Well, you have sort of put yourself into a pickle by saying that any American citizen who "hates half the country so much" should self-deport because you clearly hate at least half of the country yourself.
I've always thought that what truly makes America great is that there is room for differences of opinion among all American citizens.
I believe there is a way for congress to halt recognizing a state which could be done and that would mean their votes in congress would not count. Send the congressional reps from California packing and send them home.
The politicians are acting like children time to send them to the corner for some TIME OUT.
