Do you really think your state moving to employment at will has really helped make your life better or has it made it easy for corps to hire/fire because your manager just does not like you or because this week they want younger people?
Do you really think getting rid of the fairness act has improved the quality of news or has it divided us as Karl Rove intended?
Do you truly believe democrats want to allow in endless numbers of people and lose their own jobs? or does that sound unbelievable when you really stop and think?

you don't solve this problems by building bigger and bigger barriers you solve it by punishing those who make it worth the risks. ie the employers. But i doubt Rs will get behind really fixing the problem when what they want is a big wall to hide behind.

Both the US government and corporate greed are what caused the migration. It was wink-wink nod-nod so the corporations could have cheap labor, labor that didn't/couldn't demand fair wages, decent working conditions, safety standards.
Because this long-standing government policy allowed and even encouraged illegal migration, this is why there needs to be a thoughtful solution to it. NOT fair to toss out decades-long immigrants without regard to their well-being, ability to stay in the US as productive member of our society.
The irrational approach of kicking everyone out is based mostly on skin color....if these grubby corporations had hired illegals from lily-white countries, there would not be this uproar. There would be a sensible solution by the government that allowed this to happen.

Jobs are not the only thing that brings illegal aliens here and criminals and terrorists aren't interested in jobs, thus the wall. The illegal aliens and their greedy employers are equally guilty of breaking the law. No one drags them over the border to work here. They know that they are breaking the law simply by coming illegally and they know they are breaking the law by working here.
It's called confirmation bias. You have no proof at all there are 30 million illegals in the US. Absolutely none at all.
And you have no proof that there are only 11 million illegals in the US. Absolutely none at all.
