I agree, but that is what liberals/leftist do. From before the campaign began, groups funded by Soros like David Brock's Media Matters, has been trying to promote the narrative of Trump being racist. This of course is nothing new, as they do it against most (R's).
In this case they started with trying to morph the term "nationalist" to "white nationalist", then trying to intermingle that term with "white supremacist". Ergo, Trump being a populist/nationalist (nothing wrong with those terms) has become Trump is a white nationalist racist.
The lemmings and sheeple don't know any better because they are useful idiots. But those behind the scenes creating the false narrative are reveling in their dirty smear.
Another thing the OP missies is not that there is PC against those who decry racism. True racism should be shunned and called out.
The issue is what people define as racism, which does not meet the definition of the word. It is thrown around so often for such innocuous crap that it actually diminishes the true nature of racism. Thus when you here fools like pitbull apologists saying that someone is racist for pointing out how much more dangerous pits are compared with most breeds of dogs, "it's racism".
That is but one of many absurd examples, but even criticizing a social welfare program that might be ineffective and saps the very spirit out of the community it is designed to help, will be called racism.
So the liberals who cannot logically and rationally defend their emotion based beliefs, want to suppress all opposition to their indefensible view. The tool they use to suppress opposing speech is
Political
Correctness.
That is one of the things they hate about Trump, because he was unafraid to call it like he saw it, PC pussyfooting around be damned.
They couldn't understand how a politician didn't fall all over himself going through the many steps to apologize, then being able to use it against him to scuttle his candidacy.
Back when I thought he likely would not get the (R) nomination, I said at least this guy has struck a blow for stopping this PC nonsense. He was showing people that they need not have to walk on eggs for fear of saying one word or phrase that might get them labeled a Nazi or KKK member.
Needless to say, now that the lefts favorite weapon is not working like it use to, they want to try and pretend their tactics are being used against them, and they don't like it.
In reality, it is not reverse PC, rather just pointing out how they are the boy in Aesop's fable that cried racism one too many times. Then when real racism occurs, it is more likely to fall on deaf ears, because of all the previous false alarms.
