If they are truly "warming up" to him, let them join him in N Korea.

I'm not saying Trump is "doing it wrong" - but I do worry that his tactics will backfire, and backfire with catastrophic effects. As someone who lives on the West Coast, this is something I think about (even if I know the risk is still quite remote).
Trump's approach is stupid. What's the point of exchanging a meaningless war of words with this guy? You run the risk of goading the little fella into doing something dangerous like attacking an aircraft or detonating a weapon out over the ocean. Does Trump really think that his statements are going to change Kim's behavior in any way? Other than potentially push him over the edge? There really is no "solution" to North Korea. All the options are bad.

Yeah but in the meantime, they will have killed tens of thousands in Seoul using their conventional artillery. There is no reasonable solution to this problem that does not involve mass destruction of one form or another and a large loss of human life. Trump's foolish words have the potential of sparking the conflict though, why does he keep feeding into Kim's craziness?

"Shock and Awe" again? Don't people learn anything from their mistakes?

Trump's childish insults are putting our nation at national risk
... But calling the president names and ridiculing him is not childish. It is the mature, smart thing to do and all children should be taught to do so.

A muzzle perhaps? Bound and gagged and stuffed in the closet without his phone? A rational Trump impersonator to sub in for any communications?

Barring that, every time Trump speaks, anyone around should , in unison, yell, "Shut the bleep up!!!" But with Trump's mouth, it would take a multitude to outmatch him.

Trump is all ego, mouth and bombast. He's deficient in all those strategies and abilities needed to effectively deal with a fellow wacko like Kim.

Might he escalate and bumble his way into a real face off and then a back down with NK? This is how he does most everything including winning a tainted, compromised, exceedingly suspect election. So why not? He's done everything wrong so far and, still, he's president. Anything is possible. Fortune, in a perverse way, has favored the fool thus far (sometimes when you win, you lose). But fool's luck doesn't last. And most don't want to bet our nation's security and our safety on Trump's loud mouth, out-of-control ego and knee-jerk reactions (despite STRONG expert advice provided him to the contrary). Not a good bet in any realm of reality.

Trump won an election but he has looked to most like a real LOSER. And more crazy than not. Our insane DOTARD EGO MAN DIVIDER vs. their mad HALF-PINT DESPOT ROCKET LAUNCHER. Not a good combination. We need a grown-up on our team and not the infantile mouth-breather now at the helm. (His psych eval should have been done way before now. This is where the rubber meets the road. It's no longer about how mortifying it is to have a dum-dum like Trump in the "lead"---a term used VERY loosely.)
Awwwwwwwwwwwww. Someone lost their binky.

O>P>Wilful just posted a lovely thread about Puerto Rico today, which I do agree there should be more attention there, BUT in it, they use Kim Juns new pet phrase as if their own representatives came up with it. Dotard. That's the kind of support he's getting here. They are following NKś lead, not Americas. What should one think about that? Talk about influence. Itś, not the first time I've heard a liberal spout off Dotard in regards to Trump. Do they not see that this is support? Sharing the opinion of a leader who wants to nuke us off the face of the earth? Are they just that stupid? I doubt it.

¨It has been almost a week since Maria completely "obliterated" (Trump's words) Puerto Rico and the Dotard is still acting as if nothing much has happened. In the meantime these US CITIZENS are living under horrific and third world like conditions and are getting bupkus from their government.¨
