It's funny. You ask the average person what they think about politicians, and you'll usually get something about saying one thing and meaning another. Politicians are substanceless. And in comes Trump; the outsider and the anti-politician. And how does he do it. By eliminating substance entirely.
He doesn't utilize empty talking points any more than any other politician ever has. I mean, his slogan, 'Make America Great Again,' is treated like it means something and is special, as if any candidate would run on anything other that exactly that. The literary only less specific slogan would be "I'm running for office." But the key difference is that Trump doesn't pretend like he has substance. He just bull****s and acts like he's bull****ing. Clinton, on the other hand, pretends that "I love women and children" is actual point.
Wow, is it the bullying or the language Trump uses. Or is it because he has alienated out allies. Reagan was a true statesman. I'm not a republican but I admired him greatly. In turmoil times he was the voice of reason and calmed us. He never talked ill will against his own party. He was one of the greatest presidents even. How you can say Trump is better is beyond me. So maybe you could explain.
Trump has managed to elevate himself from a threat to our Republic to becoming a threat to our lives in a nuclear war with North Korea. Good move.
