Actually they slowly turn it into a Synagogue first. Many neighborhoods will find Chabad sitting inside low cost residential neighborhoods. They look for homes owned by elderly. Once they find two houses next to each other they purchase both and start setting up shop. One gets modified to meet their their needs and the other is usually bulldozed at a future date as each state has a parking regulation (VA Y, drive down Gaskins Rd to near River Rd, the center old looking house in the center is the original and what is to the left is what was bulldozed to add a new building and pave over all the front yards to create parking).

In these Black Hat Ultra Orthodox areas they have wealth as a community. They are poor on paper only. A large chunk of their funds come from numerous charities where the funds have been re-directed followed by Federal and State funds. If one drives through these neighborhoods they will find houses in very good conditions and relatively new vehicles (many many high end Toyota Sienna's). Clothing, though conservative, is high quality. Those fur hats one sees many of them wearing average around $5000 each. These communities are centrally run by one family with a lead Rabbi. If that lead Rabbi says to his community of 100,000 people to vote for Trump, Then 100% of them will vote for Trump.

Those who were arrested, were arrested for symbolism only so that NJ residents are appeased to think something is done about these communities. It's rare that the MSM follows the arrests all the way to the convictions which are usually slaps on the hand in the end and usually one or two do some small prison time.

In Monsey and other town in Ramapo NY they have turned neighborhoods into slums with what seems like every 4th home being a yeshiva. That was a primary reason that the Village of Montebello was created with the zoning that prevents private residences from becoming businesses/schools. I will have to take a cruise down Gaskins....

What makes you think he would start a thread about any of them? The OP isn't that invested in what goes on in other countries as he is in what happens here.
