Devastation came to the US territory of Puerto Rico last week. Over 3.5 million US citizens are now suffering on the island. Many buildings were destroyed by winds and flooding leaving large numbers homeless. Electricity is still out on most of the island and is expected to be that way for some time. Damns are compromised and threaten to fail. Food is running short.

PR was probably more adversely affected than either Texas or Florida was with other recent hurricanes. President Trump however seems more focused on extraneous events such as anthem protests than he has been with the plight of the US citizens that are suffering on the island of PR. Why is that?

He thinks Puerto Rico is a suburb of Phoenix.

hey what about it?

Rossello and other officials praised the federal government for planning its response in detail before the storm hit, a contrast with what Puerto Rico has long seen as the neglect of 3.4 million Americans living in a territory without a vote in Congress or the electoral college.

"This is the first time we get this type of federal coordination," said Resident Commission Jenniffer Gonzalez, Puerto Rico's non-voting representative in Washington.

Puerto Rico is not a state. It's territory. And they are broke because of stupid liberals there.

Screw em.

Trump is helping them BIGLey, it's just that the media is looking for problems. It would help if Puerto Rico would not be such a socialist hell hole and there were more people with a strong work ethic and trust in God, instead of government. This has been a known problem for many bankrupt years.

For a man that likes to talk, tweet, and insert himself into everything, his silence of Puerto Rico seems odd.

Take the blinders off and stop drinking the kool-aid.

Trump is commander in chief of the military and the US miltary is all over the island rescueing, supplying and otherwise helping PR to recover. The US military under Trump is hard at work but anti trumpers will never see it.

No, the media is more focused on extraneous events.
