My take on this is, since this US territory and it's inhabitants are not part of Donny's base, he could care less and it is showing Bigly.

Donny should be spending less time on the NFL and a hell of a lot more time on PR!
Sometimes I have to read a post several times to be sure the delusional, blatant lies are really posted.
First of all, we ARE in PR helping! My niece, a Navy Lt. Commander, has been there a week now. She is with a group of 24, , helping with Coast Guard operations and coordinating logistics. We are getting aid in as fast as possible, so that's a flat-out LIE!

From the article:

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2017 — The federal government's priority is continuing to provide lifesaving and life-sustaining resources to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the wake of recent hurricanes in the Caribbean Sea, Pentagon spokesman Army Col. Rob Manning told reporters today.

"The [Federal Emergency Management Agency] and its federal partners are in the lead and the Department of Defense is in support," Manning said, noting that about 2,600 DoD personnel are in the Caribbean.

"We continue to conduct 24-hour operations, aggressively conducting search and rescue operations, bringing additional essential commodities to the islands and restoring power at critical facilities with generators and the fuel needed to power them," he said.

Amphibious Ready Group

Among DoD efforts is the USS Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, which has conducted eight medical evacuations and 123 airlifts and delivered 22,200 pounds of relief supplies and cargo to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the spokesman said.

"Yesterday, they inserted Marine Corps and Navy teams in to Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, to conduct route reconnaissance, clearance of main roads and clearance of the airfield and associated taxiways," he added.

The ships also have deployed a disaster response team to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands to clean streets and distribute commodities, Manning said.

The USS Kearsarge Ambhibious Ready Group has inserted the Army’s 602nd Area Support Medical Company and a Civil Authority Information Support Element to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, he noted, in addition to transporting supplies between St. Croix and St. Thomas.

"The U.S. Navy worked with the U.S. Coast Guard to reopen the port of San Juan, and [it] is open to support daylight operations," the colonel said.

U.S. Transportation Command is moving additional personnel and equipment, including eight UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to the San Juan International Airport in Puerto Rico to increase distribution capacity, he said.

I see some of those on the left have reading comprehension problems......

That will surely lift their spirits!

Being an ass is rather expected of him, but this raises questions about his mental stability. Who does this to people who have just experienced the trauma PR has?

"...Trump tweeted before Maria hit Puerto Rico, saying Wednesday: "Puerto Rico being hit hard by new monster hurricane. Be careful, our hearts are with you—will be there to help!"

...However, over the following five days he said nothing about the situation there, concentrating instead on attacking NFL players who don't sing the national anthem and threatening North Korea in a way that led the country to claim he had declared war on it...

Late Monday, Trump finally returned to the Puerto Rico issue, tweeting: "Texas & Florida are doing great but Puerto Rico, which was already suffering from broken infrastructure & massive debt, is in deep trouble. It's [sic] old electrical grid, which was in terrible shape, was devastated. Much of the island was destroyed, with billions of dollars owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with. Food, water and medical are top priorities—and doing well. #FEMA"...

Nothing Trump says or does will please the new left. Absolutely nothing.

On the other hand, he's been preoccupied with events in your variation of football clashing political armors with other brain damage suspects and candidates. All the while two other crisis hurricane and NK are not going anywhere.

I warned you before and I'll do it again - if you don't stop the madness, you're going to hell of a civil war like you've never seen before and thus are unable to predict.

Now you can call me names.

Really? The media is the one all over the NFL statements intersecting their 2 cents worth and playing that on repeat, doesn't matter if it's left or right based.

Last I checked fema arrived and so did the national guard.

A week ago a friend of mine who's a state trooper in NY was sent to the Virgin islands. Some more may be headed down to puerto rico sometime this week.

Nice bait though.

BTW there's still parts of Texas and Florida without power.

Trump/his administration responsible for that too?

What's the guy supposed to do?

Get into a bucket truck and fix those lines and repair the power stations! When he's done with that, he's supposed to get into a rig and drop off water.

Open your eyes.

Trump is president and under his orders, the military and federal agencies are hard at work helping PR to recover...all the while Texas and FL have been devestated by historic hurricanes and floods and wind.

If anything, you should be applauding Trump's efforts to deal with the biblical devestation that struck within weeks of each other.

Trump derangement syndrome has reached biblical proporption and is spreading hateful hysteria among the hijacked dem party and their confused and delusional supporters. turns out the insect vector carrying the disease is the mainstream media..

I doubt you felt the same way about the residents of Texas, and Florida in terms of counseling patience and it will take time yada yada yada. These are human beings that need our help NOW, not lip service and lectures from folks like you.

Their US Citizens!

And exactly what are they not getting that you feel they should be getting right now? C'mon, you and some others are the self proclaimed experts on logistics and emergency aid, what is not being done other than Trump isn't doing what people constantly bitc# about which is tweeting about it?

So, if you take the politics of wanting statehood out of it, it looks according to the government there like they are doing a good job so far.

Large amounts of federal aid began moving into Puerto Rico on Saturday, welcomed by local officials who praised the Trump administration’s response but called for the emergency loosening of rules long blamed for condemning the U.S. territory to second-class status (The Jones Act).

…(Gov. Ricardo) Rossello and other officials praised the federal government for planning its response in detail before the storm hit, a contrast with what Puerto Rico has long seen as the neglect of 3.4 million Americans living in a territory without a vote in Congress or the electoral college.

“This is the first time we get this type of federal coordination,” said Resident Commission Jenniffer Gonzalez, Puerto Rico’s non-voting representative in Washington.
