This is just one example of how many mentally sick people are out running around loose in today's society.
Sure there's a slim chance to none that this person actually does have some type of dog allergy. I doubt it though.
I believe she probably does have a dog allergy. But dogs are allowed on planes. Since she is the one who needs special accommodations, it was her job to check to make sure no dogs are on the flight. She can't expect someone else, who was following the rules, to give up their flight for her.
The people with the dogs weren't the ones trying to have someone else forced off the flight. If you have a special condition like this you should be the one that bears the brunt of the accommodation, not some random person minding their own business. That means YOU get off the flight and YOU take the next flight, not force someone else to.
That is not how the real world works though. If this woman had a medical certificate they would have asked the people with the dogs to leave the plane instead. I have been on flights where they announced that people who had brought food containing peanuts on board would not be allowed to eat it because some snowflake was allergic.
Based on my experience, every flight will now have at least one dog on board.
I need to bring my whole family and some friends on board for emotional support- maybe I can get some freebies also.....????
A paying pet under the seat (under 15 lbs) and kept in the case (as per rules) is one thing, but the proliferation of freebies for "emotional support" is largely a ruse.
And yet - SW is going to fold and cow tow to this woman by contacting her. Total BS - if you have a life threatening condition you should have a certificate to say so - just in case something happens so the paramedics can determine what may be the problem.
Some one who just wanted their 15 minutes of fame.
And money from the upcoming lawsuit for being dragged off a plane.
I heard an interview with the guy who shot the video who is a documentary filmmaker. He said some airline execs came back to quietly talk to her and everyone was calm but then she suddenly went berserk. He said it was like a performance, so draw your own conclusions. Cops have pressed charges against her.
I wonder if people will start having fits when someone else on the plane is wearing perfume or cologne, or they stink for lack of bathing.
I was on a plane where the people behind me were eating curry broccoli, and the stench was horrifying. It was actually coming through the overhead vents. I complained, but didn't make a scene, I didn't want to get thrown off the flight, and I knew demanding that they leave was gonna be laughed at.
How many threads have their been on the subject of inconsiderate or overweight or smelly people/arguements/fights you name it on planes?
