Virtually all experts agree that Russia actively interfered and participated in the 2016 election. Part of it was a propaganda and information campaign using targeted social media to try to influence voters.

Now we learn that campaign is still active today. 600 Twitter accounts, some human, some bots, have been traced to Russia. Russia today is trying to incite unrest and discord in America based on race, income or political party.

We need to clamp down on this. Personally I don't believe the First Amendment extends to foreign influence campaigns. Shut 'em down.

This office building in St. Petersburg was on the evening news last night with an interview with an ex-employee. I was thinking she was taking an awfully big risk going on camera--we know how Putin takes care of those who do him wrong.

So I'm wondering if this is simply an accepted business practice over there--like influence peddling--just doing it to promote their own agenda and Putin really doesn't care who knows.

I don't know what the US can do to block them--another will just spring up in it's place. Putin wasn't a KGB chief for nothing. It would be great if Twitter or FB had a way to tag them with a fake news warning though.

Maybe we should just start our own troll farms interfering with Putin's agenda. A new cold war.

Wash, rinse and repeat. I am sure some more of your clan will be posting on this thread saying the same crap. Read before you comment.

Let's have City-Data show IP addresses right next to user names for every post. That would be fun, we'll see how many posters on here are based in Russia (until they wise up and start using VPNs).

Considering your sentiments reflect something straight out of Stalin's Soviet Union I wouldn't be surprised to see your location as Moscow.

It would also be fun to see how many far left liberals have IP addresses in California. Wasn't at least part of CA Russian at one time? Oh my, there's a connection there somewhere.
There needs to be an investigation. Maxine Waters is a Russian spy for certain.
