Donald Trump is “dangerously mentally ill”, a group of experts and commentators has claimed.

Led by Yale psychiatrist Dr Bandy Lee, 27 writers hold forth in a new book that also claims “his madness is catching”.

The Trump presidency, the authors assert, “has created unprecedented mental health consequences across our nation and beyond”.
These people hate normal Americans, and they have no moral compunctions to stop them from lying or doing anything else they deem necessary to prevent Americans from governing themselves.

We are not part of their moral community, in their view, and they accordingly believe that we have no rights. Well, they forget that morality is reciprocal. If we have no rights they need to respect, then they have no rights we need to respect.

Yes, and those who control the media. And there's a remarkable overlap between the two.

Exactly.

Trump will be gone in 3-7 years.

Life will go on just like it did after Bush and Obama.

But those that control the money supply/media will press on.

The left has become completely unhinged, truly insane people. How can anyone still support the democratic party?

Oh, a new book. I see. Will libraries be obligated to order their copies?

You can pin it all on Trump, like they did. Every era has someone to stand out to be its face, for better or worse.

But it's the spirit of times, you geniuses, it's collective requirements and expectations that need to be met. Trump has been in the public eye for decades. He has floated the idea of him as President for almost that long. And nothing happened until 2 yrs ago.

Con-man and shameless self promoter, person who crashed someone else's charity and took a seat of the real donor, pretending to be one for cameras, pretending to be his own PR over the phone, having his own fake university, stiffed vendors and subcontractors, over 3000 court cases, reality show, cameos in films and tv shows.

Celebrated by the same press who is now trying to tear him down. After fawning over him for decades so disgustingly much that thanks to them this guy became the world symbol of a guy with money decades ago. What happened? Well, there are many greedy cowards out there. Trump knew he could bribe and intimidate his way through it all and for him it was a walk in the park.

What dear doctors, together with all American public, don't realize is that Trump is not unique. Every country has a trump or two at least. Heck even US could find mini trumps on lower level. Whenever you see an inexplicably successful ignoramus, hyper focused on self promotion and very good at it, laughing stock of newspapers and laughing all the way to the bank about it, with occasional outbursts of aggression – there he is, you've found him.

A trump from my country once performed a striptease at the airport when his team won. (He was its president or something). It was all over the facetube media and TV. You guessed it, he didn't pay for that advertising. On another ocassion, he physically attacked a government official for spatial planning. That had to do with obtaining permits for building his skyscraper. Fast forward a year or two – there it was, the skyscraper, as ugly as anything a real Trump can build.

A trump from neighbouring Serbia, in just one of his press conferences, defiantly said with a straight face, that he was going to bring both Mozart and Beethoven to his town (he was a mayor) to play for the workers of his factory (he was its CEO). Serbs and neighbouring nations have been laughing about this one for a decade. And you wouldn't believe but the factory had very successful years with him as CEO. Even though Mozart and Beethoven couldn't make it then to lift the workers' spirits.

The public in both countries has been laughing at these people, the good doctors have been giving diagnoses against the code of their professions, and guess what – our trumps remained exactly where they wanted to be – holding their positions, as well as everybody else's attention. Living in our heads completely rent free!

And just for the record – your trump is more popular and much more beloved than our trumps! When is it going to dawn on your elites that it may have less to do with him and more with them. It's press and politicians and public (including the good doctors) of the western democracies that have somehow turned into a cowardly, greedy, irresponsible, stupid mess pretending to be a society.

All that Trump and other trumps had to do was bribe and intimidate their way through this mess.

The Right does have a tendency to go back to the Hillary or Obama well early and often.

Then again, they are actual people.

The Left's obsession is over Nazis (which were defeated 72 years ago) and shadowy Russians around every corner.

Both are unsubstantiated to a large extent.

So comparing any possible disorder, while digesting this fact, doesn't really bode well for your side.

Thankfully we escaped that dangerous groupthink that almost got us a Hillary presidency. Count your blessings.

I agree with the assessment but he has not been able to consolidate power the way other, let's say, similarly afflicted leaders have. He has largely relinquished control of commanding to Kelly. I've been much more comfortable since that happened. Nice to have a level headed military guy calling the shots.

He can continue to tweet about whatever at 3:45 am, who cares? I'm glad he's staying on the porch while the big dogs run the show.
