Helicopters flying from where?
Ships? It takes time to load up and days or more to sail into position.
Logistics are always the biggest problem. What ships are available? How many? What ships are diverted from other duties and where? When ships are in port crews are on leave and it takes time to recall them. Yes they have enough to put to sea but hardly enough to carry out a mission. Should we never allow sailors, soldiers and Marines their leave? Helicopters are relatively short range.
Where does the money for the fuel come from? Defense budget?

The Governor of Puerto Rico says you're wrong.

Dominica has no connection to Canada but somehow the destroyer was deployed and has been there since the 24th with sailors ashore using chainsaws cutting downed trees helping the civilians cope. Imagine that. Canada's much further away from there than Florida is from Puerto Rico....just say'n.

Puerto Rico government are holding things up. The American generals need to be in control of the ground forces. Then the logistics on the ground can get to the people much quicker.

The mishandling of the natural disaster in Puerto Rico is yet another scandal linked to Trump's incompetence. This one is, however, a MAJOR scandal.

Trump's lack of leadership, effectiveness, excuses, and lies ... all are going to contribute to his downfall.

Trump is an ineffectual fool.

No he doesn't, and the Mayor of San Juan says you're wrong.

The Mayor of San Juan is literally on TV right now, begging for more help. People are drinking out of creeks, barely any supplies are moving, hospitals still don't have fuel.

Meanwhile, Dotard Trump is playing at the golf course this weekend while American citizens are getting Cholera from dirty drinking water.

The island is decimated not disorganized. And of course it's our government's fault for not preparing for this. We all knew what was coming towards them. The military should have been in place, ships should have been in place. We could have had helicopters delivering necessary goods.

What about PR's government? They get off the hook completely?

How many times do we have to post the same information? The military was there within hours. Ships were there within hours. There are goods there, ready to be delivered.

They cannot get around the island easily. The airports were unusable. The ports were unusable. There was no radar.

The PR National Guard was not fully activated prior to the storm (which is the responsibility of the Governor of PR, not Trump). Puerto Rican truck drivers are not showing up. Every delivery of fuel has to be accompanied by a security detail to ensure the fuel reaches it's destination.
