And the people of PR are doing what they can. Finding their own water sources, helping neighbors, trying to clear roads. You think they're all just sitting in destroyed houses crying? Give them some credit.

Yes he is. The Left are salivating for every opportunity to find fault with the Trump Administration. But don't ask them to put forth any effort to help.

Locals who spoke with the Associated Press said relief efforts have been disorganized
Puerto Rico is disorganized, and the response to natural disasters always depends mostly on the efforts of local people. It isn't the American government's fault that Puerto Rican truck drivers aren't hauling supplies out of San Juan.

I stand by what I said. You can blame the locals for lack of federal response if it makes you feel better. US military has lot of helicopters which should have been flying there a week ago.

This will be worse than Katrina most likely.
Puerto Rico is a terrible disaster. But I don't hold Trump responsible for the disaster. Puerto Rico's economic woes led to an incredibly fragile infrastructure that collapsed in the face of Irma and Maria. The aid has been coming from the United States, but isn't getting distributed because of infrastructure failings, most notably the communications system is now virtually non-existent. The leaders in Puerto Rico are struggling to address the needs of their people, but it's impossible with what they have left. I think what is going to have to happen is that our stateside national guards are going to have to be called in, not for disaster relief but to actually rebuild at least a rudimentary communications network and power grid so that disaster relief can begin.

It was all very limited because their air control and navigation equipment got destroyed.
Another victim of neglected infrastructure that cannot be fixed and needs to be replaced.

The FAA had to ship mobile equipment to PR so they could get air control and sea navigation communications going again.

PR was in pretty bad condition before the hurricane hit due to neglected infrastructure repair and maintenance. This is way different than what happened when the hurricanes hit here in the US.
Damage in the US was repaired. Not so in PR where it has to be replaced.

NOT a fan of Trump but facts are facts.

Maria made landfall on 9/20, as predicted. Took 9 days for US Comfort to deploy. Why?

PR is about 3500 square miles. The electric grid is dead. Cell service is non- existent on most of the island. The entire level of local governments has been disabled by the hurricane, according to FEMA. This is bigger than FEMA.

Don't know why loaded planes are not arriving/ departing in San Juan 24 hours a day.

Why did it take so long to appoint a general to take charge of the relief efforts?

Media has shamed the Admin to take action.

The trucks are there. Problem is communicating to the drivers on the island and probably the drivers being able to be able to report with gas shortages and blocked roads. Why didn't we send some drivers down with FEMA?

We should have sent helicopters a long time ago.
