B: As that the right to bear arms is a right, to impose all those restrictions is against the Constitution. So, amend the Constitution, hold a Convention, hold a coup. For imposing those restrictions on the 2nd is really no different than saying before you can vote, you have to go through these steps.
It is very sad what happened to these people but I think people overreact with mass shootings and terrorist attacks. We have far more chances of dying in a car accident. The families of these people will be in pain probably for the rest of their lives but the rest of the people feel sadness for a moment and then their lives continue as usual. What keeps going and going like the Energizer bunny is the political propaganda and fear mongering.
Unless you restrict the sale of semi automatic weapons in this country these shootings will continue.
It isn't the guns, it's the people. As long as you have a society full of hate, you're just going to have violence. Gun-control doesn't stop gun-violence. And even if it could, it doesn't prevent people from killing each other.
Do you have any idea how easy it would be to kill people if you wanted to kill people? Guns are the obvious choice, but they are hardly the only choice, or even the deadliest choice.
If it's "not an actual machine gun". What do you think an automatic rifle is?

Did you not buy the one with the death ray switch?
Guns are a weapon, a tool. They are not the #1 problem as so many say. I personally do not like guns, open carry laws, etc. It's the human being behind the gun that's the problem.
IMO guns that are easily available are much more likely to be used when any sort of conflict occurs. So while the "tool" argument is often used, close proximity and easy access combined with conflict increase the odds a shooting will occur.

The gun would be sitting wherever it was left had someone not used it for the wrong purposes.
Another gun "expert" who would look down the barrel to see if it's chambered.
